Hunting has been part of American culture from the very beginning. Early settlers hunted for food and to help make it through the cold winters.
However, in today’s America, many liberals argue that hunting for food is no longer necessary, especially since most everything a family needs for food can be found at local grocery stores.
They fail to see the important role hunting still has. It is a form of family bonding, which is vitally needed in today’s America of fractured and dysfunctional families. Hunting does play a vital role in feeding some families, especially those on limited incomes.
More importantly, hunting plays a very important role in wildlife and range management. Without hunting, tens of thousands of wild animals would die of starvation in just a few short years and the range would be ruined for decades.
Banning hunting is also seen as another way to ban guns…
