Elizabeth Esty, in the left’s quest to literally take our guns and our gun rights away, spoke at an LGBTQ event this week where she stated that everyone needs to start calling it “gun safety” and not “gun control” to help appease MEN in Congress. Somewhere, she came up with some numbers; that 15% constituency among men is lost by calling it GUN SAFETY and not GUN CONTROL.

That seems like a load of bull to me.

That sounds like she’s grasping at straws. I’m sure she believes it though. Facts and figures, real facts and figures, are meaningless to most everyone liberal leaning nonsense you’ve ever heard.

She probably “feels” like it’s 15%. Give me a break!

Also, just to compare, look at all three major terror attacks in England over the last few months. Cars and knives were used. NOT ONE SINGLE GUN! Why? Because if someone wants to come at you, to harm you, to end you… they’ll use whatever’s to the left of them to do it! (ha! see what I did there?)

Which begs the question, what’s to the left of you? Lol

Connecticut Democratic Rep. Elizabeth Esty told attendees at an LGBTQ Pride Fund event Wednesday that using the term “gun control” turns off 15 percent of men, the Connecticut Post reported.

The preferred term should be “gun safety,” Esty said.

“Believe me, in the U.S. Congress, we can’t afford to lose 15 percent of any constituency, much less a little less than half of the public,” she said.

She made the comments about a week before the anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando.
