As Written By Jackie Salo for the New York Post:
A Georgia man shot and killed his daughter’s boyfriend Sunday after the younger man allegedly shot her during an argument, officials said.
But authorities say they don’t plan to charge the father for the killing.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the boyfriend, Thomas McNulty, 25, shot 22-year-old Jessica Rusk in the back during a fight at the home they share with her parents in Gainseville, Georgia.
Both Rusk’s parents were home at the time of the 4:30 a.m. shooting, news station WSOC reported. Her mom called 911 after McNulty fired the gun.
Soon after, her father, Floyd Rusk, 57, shot and killed McNulty. Jessica Rusk was transported to a local hospital, where she was in stable condition Monday.
