A man from Jamaica was dressed as a pilot at the JFK Airport, thinking he would be safe in his costume as he attempted to smuggle cocaine though, in a carry-on bag.
What a doofus! This isn’t the movies!

According to authorities, Mario Hudson was not only dressed as a pilot but he also had fake Delta Airline tags on his bag, as well as fake airline identification badges. This guy went all out! Too bad it wasn’t enough!
CBS New York reports:
Agents noticed the bottom of his bag was bulky and say further inspection revealed five pounds of cocaine inside, worth $85,000 dollars, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
“This seizure demonstrates the vigilance and dedication demonstrated daily by CBP officers at JFK, in keeping these prohibited and dangerous narcotics off the streets of our communities,” said Leon Hayward, acting Director of Field Operations in New York for CBP.
Hudson was handed over to Homeland Security and currently faces federal drug smuggling charges.
