As the media and their friends on the left continue to blame Republicans, conservatives, and the NRA for the criminal activity of an atheist, leftist who hated Republicans and Christians… we thought we’d introduce you to the two heroes who bravely stopped the mass shooting in Texas.

The two good guys with guns saw a terrible crime being committed and they stepped in to lend aid and comfort to innocent citizens… because the government (and their gun laws) were nowhere to be found.

Stephen Willeford, is a former NRA gun safety instructor, and a man who we now know is willing to put himself in harms way to protect others.

Willeford used an AR-15 on Sunday to confront Kelley at the Sutherland Springs church where he had killed 26 people.

Willeford says he shot Kelley, causing him to drop his rifle and try to escape in an SUV. Willeford and fellow good samaritan Johnnie Langendorff pursued him in Langendorff’s truck, with the chase reaching speeds of 95 MPH before Kelley finally veered off the road. Investigators say Kelley died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“I think my God, my Lord, protected me and gave me the skills to do what needed to be done, and I just wish I had gotten there faster,” Willeford said in an interview Monday.

Johnnie Langendorff, an auto parts store clerk who also carries a firearm, came to Willeford’s aid as the church shooter was fleeing from the scene.

Johnnie Langendorff, who works at a nearby auto parts store, had just pulled up the intersection nearest the church and saw the gunfight. After Kelley sped away, “The other gentleman [Willeford] said we needed to pursue [the shooter] because he shot up the church,” Langendorff told the San Antonio Express. “So that’s what I did. I just acted.”

Langendorff, a quick-thinking hero, recalled the incident to the press.

“The gentleman with the rifle came to my truck as the shooter took off and he briefed me quickly on what had just happened and said we had to get him, so that’s what I did,” he said.

“We just take pursuit. We speed over [Highway] 87 through traffic. We hit about 95 [mph] down [Farm Road] 539 trying to catch this guy until he eventually lost control on his own and went off in the ditch,” Langendorff continued.

Stephen Willeford and Johnnie Langendorff are heroes, and they perfectly encapsulate the beauty of our 2nd Amendment.

Again, the reality is that when a crime is being committed it is more than likely that the police will not arrive in time to stop people from being victimized. Instead, the police will investigate the crime and try to bring justice to the victims. The only way for law abiding citizens to avoid becoming victims is for them to take their defense into their own hands. Good guys with guns are the only way to stop bad guys with guns.
