We have all head of maternity leave. When a woman has a baby and physically out of commission for a shortchanged period of time. She is given off work to heal and bond with her newborn child.
However, Italy is set to offer a new type of leave: Menstrual Leave.
They are preparing to start giving women up to three days off each month for menstruation cramps. So does this mean men will get a couple days off a month as well for migraines or whatever else may cause them to endure pain?
My question….how will they confirm and I quote, “bad aches”?? This, maternity leave, and minimum wage are all bad for the same reason: they put the ability or inability to make money for yourself in the government’s hands. To all the feminists cheering on female-based policies like this…what about those complaints that women earn less than men? Pro tip, girls: Making them a liability to companies with special programs like maternity and menstrual leave doesn’t help bridge that gap. #feminism #menstrualleave #maternityleave #money #programs #laissezfaire
Why don’t they just act like an adult, take a few Midol, and suck it up like the rest of us? Yes, cramps are painful but I have never called out of work for them. This is what happens when liberals are in charge.

I say no. Women do not deserve off special days simply for having period pains. Suck it up and deal with it!
