While it is certainly unfortunate that we are, still, in this day and age arguing over the meaning of the words “shall not be infringed”, in some locales progress is being made in the right direction.

The left’s incessant anger and vitriol hasn’t slowed down a bit in 2018, fueled by a number of tragic events that allowed political progressives to swoop in and adopt young children as their mascot.  It’s a play on the hearts of the nation, injecting emotion into an argument that should have been left as is over 200 years ago.

This is, unfortunately, the only way that the left can bring anyone around to their point of view, seeing as the semantics and logistics of the Second Amendment are crystal clear.

Shall not be infringed.

Trending: BREAKING: Kavanaugh Accuser May NOT Show Up to Thursday Hearing (Details)

That’s it.  Kaput.  Done.

I’m sorry, democrats, but allowing only criminals to own guns isn’t ever going to be on the agenda.

That’s why the people of Missouri are working overtime in order to protect innocent Americans as they gather to share their faith and their knowledge.

Republicans in the Missouri House are pushing a bill to eliminate gun free zones at colleges and churches around the state.

The bill is sponsored by state Rep. Jered Taylor (R-Nixa).

The Kansas City Starreports that the bill passed the House Rules and Legislative Oversight Committee Wednesday by a vote of eight to three. The chairman of that committee, state Rep. Shawn Rhoads (R-West Plains), said, “The problem right now is our gun-free zones where people aren’t allowed to carry guns, and this is what this tries to defeat.”

Rhoads added, “If I know that I’m going to commit a crime on a college campus and I plan this out but I don’t know who’s there carrying a gun or not, I’m probably going to think twice. But if I know for a fact that no one on that campus is allowed to carry a gun, then I have a soft target, and I am able to do exactly what I want to do within there.”

Of course, the left will disagree with the move, saying that guns are the actual problem here, not the tendency of humankind to harbor aberrations among the population who will inevitably succumb to their darker, delusional desires.

A forced re-focusing of who owns the guns does nothing to deter criminals from breaking the law, obviously, but the left needs voters after getting their clocks cleaned in 2016.  By employing the likes of David Hogg and others, the democrats are merely appealing to the next generation of voters, driving 16 dead student and a teacher into the heart of the American psyche every time he open his mouth.
