He is not the only one on edge though. Many of the residents in Mt. Vernon are concerned and feel unsafe since the murder happened in the small town.


“I’ve lived here 25 years, and I know every so often things happen, but it’s crazy. I don’t know, it’s just crazy,” said Robin Moenkhoff.


She also stated that she knew nothing about guns a few months ago but now hopes to start carrying in order to keep her and her family safe.


Robin, is a very smart woman. As we all know, the 1st amendment defines us, but the 2nd amendment defends us.
