Gun rights advocates have been wanting Congress to pass a law that makes gun rights equal throughout the nation. Currently, a legal concealed carry permit holder can be arrested and charged with a felony gun crime just by crossing over a state boundary line with their gun.

States are required to honor the driver’s licenses of other states, so shouldn’t they be required to do the same with concealed carry permit holders? That’s what gun rights advocates have been pushing.

Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) has introduced a bill to try to help accomplish a universal nationwide standard on gun rights – gun control.

Cuomo is accusing Collins of playing politics with his bill and says it had nothing to do with passing a bill to help standardize gun laws. Yet, isn’t Cuomo playing politics by all of his anti-gun actions and for filing the lawsuit if Collins’ bill is passed. This is typical for a liberal Democrat. It’s okay for them to play politics but it’s not okay if Republicans play politics.
