The massive, 2-3 foot high, cracked bump is located between Flat Shoals Road exit and Gresham Road overpass, in the HOV lane. However, several lanes have been blocked as road crews access the spot.
DeKalb County Fire Rescue said the driver of a motorcycle was critically injured after he was thrown 10 to 15 feet onto the roadway by the buckling.
“I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’ this is so unbelievable,” said one driver at the scene.

This is absolutely devastating to Atlanta traffic! We have been greatly affected by the I-85 collapse, and workers have been working around the clock to fix the bridge as fast as possible. There is no telling what kind of affect this may have on tomorrow’s work commute.
