CNN’s Jake Tapper was speaking with colleague Wolf Blitzer.

Tapper made it abundantly clear regarding Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony on allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, and he effectively drove a spike directly through her testimony.

This will sting.

Democrats will be hardest hit.

WATCH below…

From Daily Wire:

On Thursday morning, CNN’s Jake Tapper, speaking with colleague Wolf Blitzer, frankly stated that despite all the furious allegations hurled at Judge Brett Kavanaugh, there are “no contemporaneous corroborating evidence for any of the charges” against Kavanaugh.

[…]

Tapper continued, “This really is a historic moment. This is gonna be something that we all remember years, if not decades, from now – where we were and the coverage of it.”

Blitzer interjected, “And these accusations by these women against Judge Kavanaugh are so brutal.”

To quote Tapper: There is “no contemporaneous corroborating evidence for any of the charges.”

Period.

During his interview with Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, Tapper made a wild claim about Vice President Mike Pence.

It’s almost too “out there” even for CNN.

In a nutshell, Tapper blames Pence for giving the New York Times op-ed hit piece on President Donald Trump credibility.

WATCH:

From Right Scoop:

That feels a little disingenuous. Mike Pence gave the op-ed credibility by denying it? Why would anyone believe something because someone denies it? Huh?

Of course, the source of the NYT hit piece is anonymous. Whoever penned the essay says he or she is a member of the left’s resistance to Trump, and “working diligently from within to frustrate” the MAGA agenda.

From Daily Caller:

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday denied being the author of an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times proclaiming the existence of a cabal of administration insiders who are secretly working to thwart President Donald Trump and his agenda.

“I come from a place where if you’re not in a position to execute the commander’s intent, you have a singular option, that is to leave,” Pompeo said at a press conference in India, according to Fox News. “And this person instead, according to the New York Times, chose not only to stay but to undermine what President Trump and this administration are trying to do.”

Pompeo went on to criticize the media for what he said was a coordinated campaign to attack Trump.

“I have to tell you, I just find the media’s efforts in this regard to undermine this administration incredibly disturbing,” he said.

There’s no chance Pompeo was behind the NYT article.

What Trump values above all else is loyalty, and Pompeo has been loyal from day one. In fact, Pompeo has been so loyal to Trump that the president decided to can former SecState Rex Tillerson and replace him with then-CIA Director Pompeo.

So, this is really a big nothingburger. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Now, to catch the real culprit!

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has called for the anonymous “official” to resign, per Daily Caller:

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called for the resignation of an anonymous official who wrote an op-ed in the New York Times disparaging President Donald Trump.

“It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room. We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t,” the anonymous official said.
