Not that many years ago, British journalist was enjoying a luxurious lifestyle here in America. Then he began opening his big mouth about American politics and gun control. The Brit blasted every patriotic American who supported the Second Amendment right of firearm ownership. I recall one instance when he was in a heated conversation with an American gun rights advocate who finally told Morgan that we defeated the British and kicked their butts out of our country and we might do it again beginning with him.
Morgan now serves as the Editor at Large (possible reference to his mouth) for MailOnLine. To the surprise of many, President Donald Trump agreed to do an international TV interview with Morgan. It didn’t take Morgan to go after Trump on gun control and Trump boldly held his own against the mouthy Brit.
(Daily Mail) – President Trump wouldn’t budge on his position on gun control during an interview with Piers Morgan.
In his first international TV interview, which aired in full Sunday evening, Trump dodged the question when Morgan asked what was being done to stop gun violence in the wake of this past week’s shooting at a Kentucky High school that left two students dead and more than 18 wounded.
Morgan mentioned that accused Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock bought 55 guns legally in the year prior to the October shooting that killed 58 and wounded nearly 1,000 – but Trump said gun control laws wouldn’t have helped that.
‘Well, we do have gun control laws and this sick person – he was a sicko. I mean that’s the big problem – they’re sick people,’ he said…
Morgan pressed about the Las Vegas shooting massacre, but Trump refused to back up on gun control, letting Morgan know that he is a Second Amendment president. He also told Morgan that he doesn’t think stricter gun control laws would have prevented the Las Vegas massacre. Pointed out what so many gun rights advocates say in that had Paddock not had a gun, he would have had a bomb or used something else to carry out his evil deed.
