Kids will be kids, of course, but Green Bay police are dealing with an escalating case of BB gun vandalism that threatens more than just private property.
Non-lethal firearms have been in the news far too often in recent days, as a number of bizarre incidents have come to the forefront of the liberal media’s anti-gun narrative. Notably, the Baltimore Police have been accused of carrying replica weapons with them in order to plant on “accidental” fatalities in the line of duty.
Now, Green Bay police are looking for help finding perpetrators who have been cruising around, shooting out residential windows with a BB gun.
“A map provided by Green Bay police shows broken and damaged windows have been reported in all parts of the city. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating similar damage in Bellevue.
“Those with information about the incidences can call the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3208 or the Brown County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 391-7450.
“To leave an anonymous tip, contact Green Bay Area Crime Stoppers by phone at (920) 432-7867, 432stop.com or use the P3 tip app available through Google Play or the App Store.”
BB guns, while often fired in a more “casual” setting than a traditional firearm, should not be considered any less dangerous than any other weapon. Their lethal potential has been well documented in the past, and are absolutely not toys.
Here’s to hoping that the Green Bay police are able to put an end to this spree before someone gets seriously hurt.
