Trending: BREAKING: Kavanaugh Accuser May NOT Show Up to Thursday Hearing (Details)

From Daily Caller:

In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Wednesday night, film director Michael Moore stood by a scene in his upcoming movie Fahrenheit 11/9 that labeled President Trump as “the last president of the United States.”

“I think it’s possible, absolutely. I think that we have someone in the White House who has no respect for the rule of law, who dislikes democracy by an incredible degree, which doesn’t make him really any that much different from other billionaires or CEOs because their businesses are not democracies,” Moore stated.

Pump the brakes, Michael.

Moore recently compared POTUS Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, per Newsmax:

Filmmaker Michael Moore compares U.S. President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler in his provocative new documentary, “Fahrenheit 11/9” that got its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday to a sold-out audience.

The documentary examines the forces Moore believes contributed to Trump’s election victory in November 2016, drawing parallels with the rise of Hitler in 1930s Germany.

The White House could not immediately be reached for comment on Thursday.

Fahrenheit 11/9 will hit theaters on September 21.

At one point, the film superimposes Trump’s words over videos of Hitler’s rallies, as a historian talks about the rise of strong men to positions of power.

“We explore the question of how the hell we got in this mess and how do we get out of it,” the liberal activist told reporters ahead of the film’s screening.

Continued:

“He’s (Trump) been around for a long time and we’ve behaved in a certain way for a long time and when you look back now you can see how the road was paved for him,” Moore said.

The new film was a call to action for Americans, said Moore, who won an Oscar in 2003 for his gun violence documentary “Bowling for Columbine.”

To say something this asinine proves that Trump Derangement Syndrome is still in full swing, despite a booming stock market and lower unemployment across all demographics.

If Trump cured cancer yesterday, the left would still find a way to bash him tomorrow.

This is what is wrong with the current political climate today. Sanity is lost.

To the left, Barack Obama could do no wrong even when he was very much clearly in the wrong. Democrats continued to defend 44 no matter what scandal happened to pop up on any given day.

Unfortunately, liberals wouldn’t change their minds about Trump even if he nominated a liberal justice to the Supreme Court.

Crazy times, indeed.

A Democrat candidate for Congress also recently compared 45 to one of the vilest men in history – Osama bin Laden.

From Fox News:

“I don’t mean to sound overly, I don’t know, hyperbolic on this,” Sean Casten, a Democrat, originally said in a recording obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “Trump and Usama bin Laden have a tremendous amount in common because they have both figured out how to use the bully pulpit to activate marginalized young men.”

“Every demagogue has done this, right – find a group of angry people and give them something to be angry at,” Casten continued.

Casten won the Democratic primary in March and will face incumbent Rep. Peter Roskam in November. Roskam, a Republican, has represented Illinois’ 6th congressional district since 2007.

Continued:

Veronica Vera, spokeswoman for Roskam’s campaign, called the comments “hateful, vicious language” that is “exactly the wrong approach.”

“Sean Casten has called Republicans pedophiles, likened abortion to gallbladder surgery and called Republican Party donors ‘a bunch of morons,’” she said in a statement to the Chicago Sun-Times. “Our communities need a solutions-oriented Representative who can bring people together to get things done.”

More on Casten from Free Beacon:

Casten’s campaign was sent the audio on Wednesday and chose not to respond to a request for comment and whether he stands by the comparison.

The comment was made during a public “meet and greet” in Wheaton, Illinois. No attendees can be heard objecting to the comparison of the president and the infamous terrorist.

Continued:

Last year failed Virginia senatorial candidate Tom Perriello was caught by the Free Beacon calling Trump’s election “a political and constitutional September 11.” He later said he regretted the comparison and apologized.

Casten is running to unseat Republican Rep. Peter Roskam, who has held the seat since 2007 and won by a wide margin in 2016 in a district that Trump lost to Hillary Clinton. The race is currently rated a toss-up by most election prognosticators.

Will Congressional Democrats condemn Moore’s and Casten’s remarks?
