Nikki Haley, former governor of South Carolina and current U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, doesn’t have time for the “anonymous source” who wrote an op-ed hit piece on President Donald Trump for the New York Times.

She makes her thoughts about the leaker abundantly clear in an op-ed of her own.

Here’s the scoop, via The Daily Wire:

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has no sympathy for the senior official in the White House who penned an anonymous op-ed earlier this week in The New York Times.

In her own op-ed for The Washington Post, titled, “When I challenge the president, I do it directly. My anonymous colleague should have, too,” she criticizes the official for attempting to undermine President Donald Trump.

“The author might think he or she is doing a service to the country,” Haley writes. “I strongly disagree. What this ‘senior official in the Trump administration’ has done, and is apparently intent on continuing to do, is a serious disservice — not just to the president but to the country.”

Haley is considered a “frontrunner,” if you will, for the Republican nomination for president in 2024.

There have long been rumors that after her stint as UN Ambassador she would become secretary of state, thus making it only natural she’d strive for higher office.

From Fox News:

U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has come under fire for her use of personal Twitter account for her diplomatic work and preparing for 2024 elections, despite the precedent being set by previous administrations.

Haley, the rising political star whose fiery statements at the U.N. earned her bipartisan praise, has been using her personal Twitter account @NikkiHaley to make work-related announcements since she was confirmed for the role.

Among her tweets, there are stark condemnation of the Russian government actions in Syria and criticizing other members of the U.N. for voting against the U.S.

The account also features music recommendations and the much-awaited declaration that Haley is on “Team Laurel” in the hotly contested debate whether an audio clip is saying “Yanny” or “Laurel.”

What do you think? Would you support Haley’s bid for the White House?

A new report claims ‘dozens and dozens’ of anti-Trump members of the “resistance” are currently working at the White House, with the goal of disrupting the president’s agenda.

Check this out, from Axios via Right Scoop:

In the hours after the New York Times published the anonymous Op-Ed from “a senior official in the Trump administration” trashing the president (“I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration”), two senior administration officials reached out to Axios to say the author stole the words right out of their mouths.

“I find the reaction to the NYT op-ed fascinating — that people seem so shocked that there is a resistance from the inside,” one senior official said. “A lot of us [were] wishing we’d been the writer, I suspect … I hope he [Trump] knows — maybe he does? — that there are dozens and dozens of us.”

Several senior White House officials have described their roles to us as saving America and the world from this president.

A good number of current White House officials have privately admitted to us they consider Trump unstable, and at times dangerously slow. But the really deep concern and contempt, from our experience, has been at the agencies — and particularly in the foreign policy arena.

Such a mess.
