In the wake of the tragic school shooting that left 17 dead in Parkland, Florida, not only are Democrats and the mainstream media back on their gun control bandwagon, but sadly, a growing number of Republicans are also finding themselves sucked up in the abyss of understanding as they side with Democrats.

Less than 24-hours after the shooting in Florida, Secretary of the Treasury, Steven Mnuchin called on Congress to buckle down and start passing more gun control laws in order to stop the shootings. His comments are not likely to set well with President Donald Trump who continue to supports the Second Amendment rights of the American people.

(Washington Post) – Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Thursday called on Congress to look into issues related to gun violence less than 24 hours after 17 people were killed in a school shooting in Florida.

“I will say, personally, I think the gun violence — it’s a tragedy what we’ve seen yesterday, and I urge Congress to look at these issues,” Mnuchin said at a House Ways and Means Committee hearing.

Mnuchin’s comments were notable, because he was the first senior Trump administration official to call for a congressional review after the massacre. He was responding to questions from Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) about whether there was any money in President Trump’s new budget to address gun violence…

If Democrats, members of the media and weak-minded Republicans just take a breath to relax, they might see that under the current situation of a Godless America, the best solution to stop school shootings is to train and arm teachers and staff at EVERY school in the nation. Note that that the resource officer at this school was unarmed and had no way to stop the shooter and it cost him his life and the life of others.
