As the vast majority of colleges and universities in America today are so far-left liberal and progressive oriented that they do their best to discriminate against Christians, Christians organizations, conservatives and Republicans. They violate First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and religion, while tolerating radical liberals, activists and Muslims.

It seems that not every university has fallen to the dark forces of progressive Democrats.

Students at the University of Utah are being offered a free course, providing they meet the requirements, on firearms and firearm safety. The event is sponsored by the Utah Shooting Sports Council and College Republicans.

(Ammoland Shooting Sports News) – This training is sponsored by the Utah Shooting Sports Council and the College Republicans.

The class is free and is reserved for students of the University of Utah with a valid student ID. It is open to all students and will be tailored towards students. Seating is limited and is available by registration only on a first to sign-up basis.

The class includes photographs and fingerprints (required by the state for the permit).

I remember a time when many high schools, colleges and universities had shooting teams and competed against each other in shooting matches. In today’s America, most people would be horrified to see a school sponsored shooting team, let alone firearms on campus. But then I also remember when half the pickup trucks in a high school parking lot had rifles or shotguns in gun racks in the back window of the cab. Those were the good old days, for sure.
